France Greeting Card Collection
A lovely collection of 12 blank greeting cards with envelopes.
A celebration of photographs I took during a springtime exploration of a France.
4 1/2 × 5 1/2 inch cards printed on heavyweight matte textured paper.
Parisian hearts scattered like confetti across the cobblestones along the shimmering Seine River. Everywhere, the irresistible scent of fresh, crusty baguettes, golden and fragrant, sat proudly on display in nearby shops. The tattered velvet drapes lining the halls of Versailles, the elegant statues among its vast gardens, and bundles of willow in the beloved Estate of Trianon. Further north the curious Charolais cows of Bayeux, their pale coats glowing against the backdrop of the lush green fields. Normandy steps winding their way down to the old war bunkers, their weathered forms silent but heavy with memory. Delicate Cymbalaria vines soften the rigid structures of an old cemetery as we traveled eastward to face the gale-force winds of Étretat. A tattered scarf, wild and unruly, clung to the barbed wire fence on the cliffs of Étretat. Below, tethered boats were tucked safely along the shore. The smooth rocks, polished by the wind and the rough seas, lay scattered along the shore beneath the towering cliffs of Étretat, nature's quiet treasures, each one a tiny memoir of a storm's fury and the sea's punishing waves. Tucked away in the window of a shop, a simple trinket caught the light on a windowsill, its delicate beauty offering a quiet moment of pause.
Enjoy!
