Hokkaido Blue Honeyberry (PAIR)
This pair of Hokkaido Blue honeyberry bushes, each about 3 feet tall and currently in 5-gallon pots, are ready to be planted and settled into their permanent garden home. With their upright, compact form and attractive silvery-green foliage, they make a striking and fruitful addition to any edible landscape. These cold-hardy shrubs thrive in cooler climates and produce elongated, deep blue berries with a flavor that blends blueberry and wild berry notes. They are not self-fertile, but this paired set provides the cross-pollination needed for reliable fruiting. For optimal growth and airflow, plant them 4 to 6 feet apart. Once in the ground, they’ll establish quickly and offer early-season, antioxidant-rich harvests for years to come.

*Honeyberry bushes prefer full sun to partial shade. For the best fruit production, at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day is ideal. They can tolerate some shade, especially in warmer climates, but too much shade can reduce berry yield.
*Choose a well-drained location with good air circulation. These bushes do well in open garden beds, along fences, or in orchard-style rows. Avoid low-lying areas where water may pool, as honeyberries dislike soggy roots.
*In early spring, when they bloom, honeyberry flowers are among the first to appear, planting them where you can see them from a window adds a nice seasonal touch to your view!
